Giving before 15 December
As Shofar Stellenbosch, one of the main Reach (outreach) and Root (discipleship) vehicles that we have for the youth of our generation is our annual camps for the youth: First Years Camp and Summer Camp. We see these as vital to raising up a generation that is transformative in every sphere of society, both in South Africa and into the nations.
With this goal in mind, one of our dreams is to lower the financial barriers for our own facilitators (many of whom are students and pay out of their own pocket to serve our camps) to be able to serve and disciple the youth.
Project200 is our initiative to try and reach this goal. We are trusting and praying for our own church family to raise R200 000 before 15 December, which will halve the cost for a facilitator to serve on one of our camps. If 200 people each sow one R1000 seed, then we will reach our goal!
